The friction pads for yaw brakes supplied by our company are suitable for various models of yaw brakes. The friction pads are made from an organic composite material that is asbestos-free. They achieve a coefficient of friction of 0.4 μ. Under an operating pressure of 24 bar, the wear rate does not exceed 0.3 × 10⁻⁷ cm³/N·m. The material exhibits a compressive strength ranging up to 35 MPa within a temperature range of -45°C to +60°C. The shear strength between the friction material and the backing plate is 3 MPa, and the surface hardness is between 55 HRL and 115 HRL.
