The yaw brake pistons supplied by our company are made of No. 45 steel, which has undergone tempering and quenching treatment. The surface is subjected to high-frequency hardening with a case depth of 1–2 mm, achieving a hardness of HRC 45–50. The surface is also coated with a nickel-phosphorus alloy for corrosion resistance, resulting in a surface hardness of Hv 750–800. The pistons undergo 100% ultrasonic testing according to the requirements of EN/0228-3:1998 regarding the assessment of defects, and have been certified as Grade 2 compliant.
